Hi Tinkers, we too are back from our holiday in Dorset, we had a lovely time although sadly it was very windy all week so we didn't get to go down on the beach or do our usual cliff walks, the wind was bitterly cold off the sea. We did get to Lyme Regis and Broadwinsor craft shops ( a bit of a misnomer as the craft shop has closed :-( We visited Abbotsbury for the tropical gardens and the swannery both wonderful and the children's farm which was good for photos. It was cheaper to buy the all in ticket whcih is why we went to the farm. |

Hope your son's GP has a better attitude this time FM, it must have been a shock to hom to be made redundant after all that time, he will find it harder than most to adjust I'm sure. I hope he manages to find something else. It is good to know how this thread helps people too. |

Thanks for your support AnninGlos. much appreciated. GP arranging for an appointment with PMCT? have to wait at least 4/6 weeks. |

FM pleased your son got a sick note. Some time will help him come to terms with loosing his job. Ask his Dr about a confidence course at your local mental health clinic. They are really useful in helping you realise you are with other people who look 'normal'! I found it helped me to feel less alone and hopeless. |

Carole I know how hard it is to lose a pet, having gone through it too many times. Thinking of you and of course sending hugs and support. |

Sounds good Tinkers, I know it's frustrating to wait for the pills to kick in, we all seem to want everything instantly these days, but things start to turn around when you can finally get a decent night's sleep. |

Tinkers, do you have lavender in the bedroom, just a faint smell of it is relaxing, you don't want it too strong. |
