I wasn't supposed to be smoking.. she was playing up and tried to run across the road... I grabbed her, she wriggled... I said be careful or I'll burn you.... my life was blighted! I would have... still would, protected my sisters with my life... although I have to admit to the odd pinch, punch and shove, lol... my nearest, dearest and most loved sister... younger than me, but only just.... is a Rottweiller in spirit. But I have found other ways of protecting and being there for her.

Aw Hun.... she sounds like she had to grow up before her time, bless her... she must have loved you all to bits to do somuch for you.... and to lose your dad at any time is awful, but to lose him just at the time young girls need to be learning how to flirt safely is tragic.

My dad was and is a bit of a bully. I used to make all my little sisters pinafore dresses by hand... he wouldn't let me use my nan's sewing machine, even though she had taught me well how to use it. I was also cooking dinners young... my mum had my youngest sister just after my tenth birthday, and I cooked a few then, as both mum and baby were quite poorly... but when I was almost 12, mum was seriously ill, and I looked after all of them for about 6 months... I am the eldest of 8. After that began a bit of a dark period of my life... I'll tell you about it one day, lol!!
