If you like the impressionist, Monet etc go to the Musee D'orsay, if I remember correctly it is not far from the Place de la Concorde.

Love Paris been four times and would love to go again. if time is limited for getting around take the Bateau bus (boat bus). It goes to all the tourist places. You can buy a ticket that allows you to jump on and off where you like.

Hello LLC,

Thank you for asking.

I had a fantastic time, walked from Notre Dame to The Louve.. went in there, took a piccy of Mona.

Walked to the Arc de Triomphe along the Seine and via Jardin des Tuileries and Champs-Elysées, and everything else on the way, then to the Eiffel Tower. It's a long way up that ... I 'got a grip' and braved it and I am so glad I did. Shouldn't have walked down the stairs though, that was big time scarey lol.

Walked back to where we started - St Germaine des Pres - got on the Metro and back to Gard du Nord and found somewhere to have something to eat.

The whole Eurostar experience was amazing 2 hours 5 mins to get there.
It was a brilliant day out and I suppose I am very lucky that I don't live too far from Ebbsfleet International station.

glad you had a great time Tina
the Louvre is amazing,do they still have Mona in a glass case and you have to look at it like miles away-Notre Dam is great too-although it was very dark and dingy inside I found-
how lucky you are-I'd go every week lol

I was going to ask how you were doing it in a day from where you are but see you went on eurostar.
Would love to try that ourselves. The hardest part would be to get to Ebbsfleet.

Glad you enjoyed it. Last time we went we went up another high tower so we could take photos of the eiffel tower. It was one of those with a lift that flies up about 50 floors in 1 sec. Leaves your stomach at the bottom.
