Hope you find another nice job soon, Janet. No wonder you feel down. I have a good friend lives in Doncaster, she says there is a fantastic open air market there. Am always promising to visit her. Maybe in spring. XX BC |

Oh thank you all for your lovely e-mails. I have just resigned from a voluntary job that I have done for 4 years because it has been getting a bit too much (political correctness) and that's why I feel low. |

Hello Janet, sorry you are feeling low. I live near a Scottish Pub and I dont need the television on to hear when Rangers score, I hear it from the Pub! There are approximately 30 different nationalities living in my street. The houses were built around 1800s and the whole street is listed. I live in the centre of London but when I look out my kitchen window, I only see trees and bushes and I feel I am in the heart of the country. |

Evening Janet, today is the most depressing day of the year according to our local radio, its a mixture of short daylight hours, post Christmas blues and the arrival of the first bills of the New Year...something nice about where I live.....well if you like Thomas The Tank engine we are having the only 'Thomas Land' in the UK open in the spring which should bring in the visitors |
