I do feel sorry for those with families who are struggling to pay a mortgage. I am so glad that we no longer have a mortgage and I am sure it is harder for the young ones than it was for us. |

Fully agree with you, Caz, and wages aren't rising in line with inflation. The minimum wage has risen by 3% . My wage 'rise' (cost of living rise) was 2% last year and in line with equal pay changes, I'm set to receive absolutely no pay rises or cost of living pay for 2 years - and I earn less than half the average! By then, if minimum wages continue to rise, the minimum wage will be more than my pay!! |

Council Tax, Gas, Leccy all increased above the rate of inflation - the problem is there is nothing we can do about it. |
