Interesting,as I've only chanced scrubbing them flat in the bath, and hanging them when rinsed over the bath and they have come up like new. |

I have a few spare slats they gave me at the time i got them. I'll try it when I can't live with them any more - another 3 or 4 years should do it! There's a good reason I got cream! |

Yep that was my thoughts hon - hence the blase attitude with the washing machine. You know me - I won't clean if I can get an appliance to do it for me lol xx |

OK well if the washing doesn't work and you don't like the peep hole idea, swap the worst downstairs ones for some at the upstairs (back) of the house. Not best idea but might do until you can get new ones. |

Just checked they are sewn ones not glued *phew* lol. I'm happy to starch and iron them if they go a bit lumpy (though would rather not cos as I said before I'm dead lazy lol) xx |

Hi Muffy, I wash mine put them in dryer then spray them with starch and iron them, you just have to check if they are sewn or glued along the hems if glued it might come off in the wash |

I also put them in the bath think the washing machine might cause wrinkles. Then take them out of the bath and hang over the washing line till the water drips off then hang them damp, have washed them twice and no problem. |

Well if it shrinks, hang it back up where the girls stick their heads and bingo, you've got yourself a peep hole. |
