I think you would have had more of a problem if she had asked you politely......this way she just comes across as rude, and taking you for granted....

....afraid this sometimes happens to me, you do not mind doing favours, its when its EXPECTED of you that it wrankles.....

.....they are right.....nip it in the bud now.....she is trying it on......not even asking you face to face....cheeky beggar.....they trust on you being too nice to refuse them.....but sometimes you have to.....if it is inconvenient in any way to you, you will end up resenting her..... good luck x

It's amazing isn't it you do someone a good turn then end up with the embarrassment of trying to get out of the situation?

Tell a lie! Say you have a job to do in the morning and so can't pick her up!

I think you have to nip it in the bud. Be honest with her. Tell her you don't mind doing it occasionally as a favour but that it is not convenient (you don't have to give a reason) for you to do it all the time.

Then text her saying sorry, you don't mind on the odd occasion but not as a regular thing due to traffic and not being on your route as well as the extra cost!

Or you wouldn't like to spoil her fitness regime re walking to work! lol
