Absolutely not, Peggy..... My Lord Hunter Gatherer is a lovely man, but he won't let me have another dog (cue violins, tear-filled eyes) and so this will do nicely... I can be an Aunty, which gets me visiting rights!!!

I was given the motability help first, after an independent doctor came to the house.
Then after a while (can't remember how long) I was given the care allowance.

I will make such a difference to your life.
It meant that my weekly visits to the doctor, and my monthly visits to the specialist were not emptying our household purse.

And they should give you the back money up to the day you applied.
