this year i have truly learnt to love the person i am,

after years of being made to feel worthless, with help, i have realised, i am an ok person, who is actually quite likeable, for me, this has been a great achievement

and of course, I have become a Nanna to a very special little girl

This year has been a tough one for me, so many problems of which i havent shared on the boards, but ive managed to get through them all without falling to pieces and with my head held high and a smile on my face and thankfully now things are looking alot brighter.

I think I must be a bit of a waste of space really, because thinking about this year Penny I have not done anything much towards making a better society......give to charity, but that is so easy to do.....help MiL wherever possible......but again, not much...

Well done Penny.................good for you.

Colin..............that is wonderful, the gift of life is priceless to those patients.

Lynn and Jax.................I am pleased the future is looking brighter for you both :))

My achievements are tiny in comparison to yours..............I work with children with special needs and this year have gained the trust of a little lad with autism and learned enough sign language to communicate with a profoundly deaf child.

Well done Kitty - although small to you it must be fantastic for the boy & his parents - I'd love to do sign language

Sally I'm sure your MIL could not cope without you - keep up the good work.

mine was getting my autistic sone to the age of 16 without cracking up, and best of all his acheivement was him going on the train on his own to college
another of mine ws giving up booze, whilst not a daily drinker i did binge some weekends and really enjoyed it, as it took my pain away, ive acheived giving up drinking smoking and learned to controll pain and not let it control me, and ...... ive signed up to a small donation to NSPCC, which will be the start of helping others less fortunate than my self.
