Errol, I don't think you should call people who fall prey to this stupid, you don't know them. They just make the mistake of believing everyone is friendly. It is easy to be IT aware when you are IT literate. You have to remember that many people using computers are not particularly IT literate.

They tried to get this on the net Christmas Eve and have just renamed it for the New Year, this is a group of young computer geeks with more computer power than a lot of companies who for some reason choose to do this, quite sad really, the youth of today

I read about this in the Sunday People newspaper, I have not checked it out.

The idiots that promulgate these virus are getting more sophistacted, you don't have to open an attachment now, just visit a malicious website and without your knowledge a virus is downloaded to your computer.

All the more reason to make sure you have an UP TO DATE ANTI VIRUS PROGRAM running on your PC, anybody who does not is asking for trouble.
