Perfect thread for me.....

Just got back from appointment with daughters specialist who re-checked her hearing...
He confirmed that neither ear is functioning correctly and that further treatment will be required - but then went onto say that she has 'behavioural problems' and NOT hearing problems!!!!!!!
(Can't repeat my reply on here)
He said her 'behaviour' in school was probably due to lack of disipline and that there is nothing more medically he can do!!!
My daughter hasn't got ANY behavioural problems (people on here who have met her can vouch for that) And is actually still top of her class evwen though she can't hear!!!!!
Bloomin waste of space doctor!!!!!
I'm fumming!
It's the first time he's met her and obviously hasn't read he notes...
Poor little mite - all she wants is to hear properly!

Can't believe he said with one breath that she still couln't hear - then with another basically said it was a behavioural problem! What a numpty!!!!!

Anyway - we see our 'REAL' specialist again in the new year - can't wait to see his face when i tell him what he collegue said!

Oh, your poor nephew!

It is really fustrating..
I noticed my daughter was lip reading when she was 18 months old!!! She's now five and a half and only just had an op to investigate why her ear drums don't work!!
We had to go private as we wern't getting anywhere on NHS (don't get me started on them!!!)

It's always one step forward, three steps back - Flippin' annoying espcially when we're paying so much for it!
