We had a water supply problem this morning so school was closed for the day.

Not sure if infection is going around in Cheshire. does anyone know?

Tummy bugs take 2 days incubation period before smptoms appear. If my kids ever get it i always count 2 days on and if i haven't caught it by then i sigh with relief!

We have had this bug down here in Somerset too - tho thankfully I havent had it.

My daughter works in a nursing home and lots of the old folk got it - some were taken to hospital and the rest had to be confined to their rooms to try and stop the spread of infection. A lot of the staff got it too - so the room confinements also helped when there was a drastic drop in staff members over one particular weekend.

There's definitely a nasty sickness bug going round our school in Chessington. Last week our first aid room was overflowing and had to extend into an empty classroom.
Hope your daughter feels better soon Julie.
