We don't buy nuts except at Christmas.

Peanut butter.

The reason is that if I eat ONE NUT..... I will not stop!!
And as for Peanut butter..... I could eat it with a spoon.
So.... they are Christmas only foods.... looking forward to them. :-P)

Spicey German biscuits,- Lebuchen?

Stollen cake.
I usually end up buying several which are tested for suitability by the rest of the family. I then buy another of the favourite one and hide it.

I think you have to cover your poinsettia and let it have a certain number of hours of complete darkness each day to encourage the red bracts.
