Had my hair done today, and at last I have found someone who does my hair just how I asked for it to be done. With my very curly but long hair, (given to frequent tantrums of wildness and frizz) it's difficult to get someone to cut it to a style where, on the worst days, ie rain, I can still put it up to keep it under some semblance of control. They usually don't listen to me, cut it too short, or cut it blunt.

This one has given it shape, layers and cut INTO the hair, not across it! I'm well pleased.

Plus for the first time I have been told that if I want just my fringe trimmed, to just pop in they do it for free!

No more losing me rag with it then LOL

I would, but my OH dropped my camera and now it won't take pictures grrrrrrrrrrrr

Photo shop owner told me it would probably be cheaper to buy a new one...

Besides this is probably the only day my hair will ever be like this, poker straight, no hint of frizz or even curl lol

Oh please send me her number!!!!

I can't find ONE that'll do what I want and have resorted to hacking off bits that stick out!!!

Hairdressers and dentists are alike to me - both damn difficult to find one you can trust and both scare me! lol

Took me a year to find the one I use now - she is great and only use natural products on the hair - no chemicals.

AND - what's really nice is you get a lovely head massage thrown in!

I have a general mistrust of hairdressers, mainly because they are taught to cut straight hair, not curly hair, so the never get it right.

However with the advent of ghd's it does make it easier lol

Oh I bet you look more like Cher than ever, TW! Maes you feel good doesn't it. My one comes to my home but is inclined to sip.snip.sip. etc. lol Last time was a teensy bit too short. BC XX

Teresa, this one you keep.

It is very difficult for a hairdresser to get it right sometimes. (experience talking here!)

so if she is good for you... then make sure you get her every time you go there.

I once asked a woman.. Would you like me to cut it ACROSS or AROUND your ears??
around... Said she, and I immediately cut it across... ;-0(

She did laugh so it turned out okay!!

Luckily all the hardressers in there are self employed, the owner of the salon doens't employ them, so I can ask for her again, and I certainly will.

Hi Teresa :-)

Make sure you keep hold of this one. If she moves move with her if at all possible.

Mine comes to the house and we experiment with cuts. I have a lovely smooth cut at the moment, though the fringe seems to grow faster than the rest. She cuts my OH's hair as well and is quite reasonably priced. Much easier than getting the car out and going in to town to a place where you dont know who will be doing the cut. Jean

Experiement? You're brave, there is no way I would let anyone experiment with my hair...its hard enough to get someone to do it right lol
