You think you had a bad day LOL
At least you had a house & electrics to start with!!
The earthquake happened right under the makeshift tent I was in, ripping the tarpaulen clean in half, and causing me to fall down the crevace.
I thought myself lucky when a ladder that was forming part of the wall of my makeshift home fell down after me. When I came round (having been knocked out by the falling ladder), I put it against the side of the crevace, but it wasn't long enough.
THEN the major flood came - which was lucky for me, as it filled the crevace up and I was able to float to the top and get out.

first of all there was the earthquake , but managed to regain most of my possessions and rebuild some of the house after reconnecting the electrics and water. And then believe it or not we had a major flood but managed to scoop all the water out of the remains of the house with the wife's saucepans, and then was just going to have a nice cold lager and a plague of African red spotted locusts descended on the garden eating what was left of my vegetables , well surely nothing else could happen could it ??, but oh yes just as I was going to relax there was a knock on my makeshift front door and horrors of all horrors its the mother-in law , thing just cant get any worse

;-)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
