Stop beating yourself up, Billys Mum is an understanding woman she was upset to have upset you too.
So come on you talk to her and I'm sure you will both be ok.

It is so easy to misunderstand words written on these boards.

I honestly think no-one would say anything to hurt any-one else on purpose.

We do not know every persons personal circumstances so sometimes things in a bit of fun are going to affect someone at sometime.

People just need to stop thinking others are having a go at them all the time.When actually they are not,it's just coincidence.

hi i have been away from my pc for a few days andwas in two minds to post , im sorry my opinion that i posted on a thread had upset so many people i supose i shud of just clicked off and carryed on and ignored it but i just couldnt it upset me ..as i said i spose im too sensative but i did say before i left no hard feelings and i was cool ...im sorry that people got upset about my posting and i have pmmed foggy and billys mum personaly , IM SORRY for causing an argument and upsetting billys mum and others but that truely wasnt and i state WASNT the intenton..i used to log on to relax and have a laff and unwind from the day just as so many others do..im so sad that by my posting on here has upset people ..after reading all the threads i feel if i add to threads people will see me as the trouble maker or the moaning minnie :( but im a mum and mums care for there kids) ..once again im SORRY ...love michelle x p.s please dont add to this thread as i dont want to cause ill feelings to the board x

Hi all, I wasn't going to post on Chat again after last week, but couldn't help having a nosey at the threads.
Michelle, do you watch a programme on Sky TV called "Little People, Big World"? It's about an American family whose parents are dwarves. I think they have four children, one of whom, a twin, has dwarfism. It's a humbling experience watching them, and a very enjoyable - and enlightening - programme.

I am very very upset and in tears now as i have upset someone, I have PM'd Michelle and apologised, It was just a joke about Snow White and the seven dwarfs, it wasn't crude, it was just about their names etc nothing about size ., and I had no idea that I would knowingly upset someone. Forgive my posting this today but i only just read it and I know we are all in mourning for Carol.
Think i will give the boards a break.
I'm very very sorry Michelle and anyone else that I may of upset. As the Mum of a severe disabled child Its the last thing I would ever do x

skeggy im sure it wouldnt of been meant that way but when i was looking at the special billy u tube ...i called my daughter in and we both had tears in our eyes watching it ...it just hurt me when i logged on and saw that thread tonight...im sorry xx

oh i didnt want no ill feeling after all it was a joke thread but still i was upset @ seeing people laffing and making jokes...just wanted to shout out that it did upset me thats all and stella thanx for your kind words x

i can quite understand that michelle , but i am sure no badness or hurt was intended, just a bit of thoughtlessness that's all , they will be so upset when they realise what has happened . these special children are just that "very special ".

i saw the special billy utube too and it really did bring a lump to my throat....but tonight ive logged on and seen a thread to which billys mum is laughing about a dwarf thread well.... my daughter has a dwarfism shes is 17 and at art school ive encouraged her my whole life to be independent and to face the world head on no matter what. she has long brown hair and big brown eyes and very pretty, always has a smile on her face ..she depends on me for personal things but i dont care cos she my special daughter and id go to timbuktwo for her , shes polite friendly and has so many friends but there is still the small minority of small minded people out there who often bring her down with there jokes and offensive manners ...sorry if u think im over reacting but it really upset me to see that people were laughing at other peoples disabilitys ...sorry if u think im being dramatic but im her mum xxxx
