i know i'm a day later, but my Great Grand Father was born 1816 in congleton cheshire.
Hard to belive it, but its right..........

Walter is 141,...
William is 140.

and can still be seen, im sure ..sitting on Blackpool central pier on certain windswept nights.. lol

I,m 43 and my grandada would have been 100 this year his dad would have been 140...he was born in 1867

Getting back to the original topic, and while you're talking about halloween.
My grandmother died on October 31 2003, aged 99 years and 4 months.
She was of course, my daughters g grandmother and my grand daughter's g g grand mother.

We have a lovely picture of my grand daughter aged about 4 months, sat on her g g grandmother's lap!!!

Shame we didn't have a tape recorder, as my gran was also singing a nonsense song she used to sing to my mum, that her mum had sung to her.

When my OH is working sat. nites I'm usually at
home - on the computer/watching tv or reading a good
book
youngest is 15 but she is normally at friends - or worse they'e all here!

i have 3 young kids and OH is working and it difficult to get someone to sit for all 3 of them.
