I have tried to download the pictures that were taken on the phone, so I installed the disc that came with the phone but now can't download the photographs.

I find it easier to send to my own email address,then save them to my docs,or pictures file,,,,,,,,,
you should be able to do this,,,,,,,,

Sorry I didn't know anyone had replied, I put the disc into the tower and it dowloaded. I now have to click on the phone Icon and it opens up but looks like it is trying to connect to the internet but can't.

I pluged in the phone to the tower when downloading the pictures from the phone, I was able to see the pictures but can't find them and cant manage to connect to the internet when I use the phone icon on my computer.

What have I done wrong?

I have not got a moterola phone, but when I tried to download photos from my new phone, I had the same problem.

My son downloaded 'a patch' from their site - turns out the disc that came with the camera was not compatable with Vista.

You could look on desk top. Did you tick where you wanted the photos to go?

I don't have Vista just XP but I think I have done something wrong but what I just don't know.

Did you actually save them anywhere or just look at them?

Sorry added to my other reply - some phones are still being sent out with discs for older versions of Windows.

When I connected the phone to the tower, I thought it would be just like my camera, when I plug that into the tower all the pictures download into my photograph section.

I didn't know the disc with the phone would download a complete Motorola programe for pictures. But the pictures are not there and when I click on the phone icon it wont connect to broadband network or anything else.

Hi Kay,

I don't know if my pictures are still in the phone, I find this phone so difficult to work I can't find where anything is. Give me a basic phone anytime phone and text only, love those kind, not technical phones.

When you view the pictures if you right click your mouse you should have an option as "save as" - you should then be able to put your photos with the rest of your photos.

Photos should still be on phone until you physically deleted them from the phone

I had a look at the phone too and don't know where they are now.

You don't need to connect to the internet to store photos - it should down load them in exactly the same way as your camera does.

I plug my lead into my tower - then into the phone - I am then asked if I wish to save photos & where.

Both my phone & camera are Sony Ericson & work with Photoshop, so I do not know if yours will be the same?

When I just connected the phone to the computer tower the way I would if it was an ordinary camera, a message came up that I must instal the disc first before downloading the pictures. When I did this I did see the pictures come up on the screen and thought they were just dowloading from the phone to the computer bu they didn't. It then said camera would have to connect to the internet, which somehow it did I though the pictures would download after connection to the internet but they didn't.

I don't know if the pictures are still in the camera or not because I don't know where to look for them on this damed camera. I don't think they are though somehow. I thought the downloaded on the computer but nothing there.

If you click the middle top button on your phone it should bring up the menu - one icon should be camera

Hi Penny did that but it looks like it is just set to take a picture., can't see any picture its just viewing everything around me.
