Hi David,

I understand exactly how you feel. My uncle passed many years ago at the all too young an age of 30, he has five children and not one will speak to me, reasons best known to themselves but each and every one will have a huge gap where their fathers family history is concerned. I lost both of my parents three years ago. At 37 I am so bereft of family. I am heartbroken but try to understand not everyone has the need to know where they 'fit in'. I only hope in time that our respective relations do get 'bitten' by this bug.

Keep enjoying your searches David.

My own father left me a legacy I would never have chosen to inherit!

He died in Canada, and even his second wife, and her family (no children) knew NOTHING ABOUT US, his two daughters over here!!

You'll be fine, just enjoy it.

Good luck,
Deanna X

David
I now think it is their loss i have a quite a large tree all sourced, some photo's and stories and a will from 1700's some if it makes great reading, I would have been happy to share my findings with them. Its quite sad they must ahve a interest in FH or why else would they be on GR.
Enjoy researching your tree
