Just skimming Jeanette.

He has knocked out and redone the old plaster etc.....he's quite good at plasterboarding but the ceiling was done a year ago and the coving put up, which makes it impossible to put up plasterboard.

We have a house in East Anglia we are trying to renovate to let out and it is taking oh forever :-)

Do you just want it skimming, or the old plaster knocked off and redone, or any plaster boarding? Does the ceiling need doing too?

Or anyone with the knowledge of such things.

We would like to have a room of 25 square metres re-plastered but have had problems in the past with cow-boy workmen and overcharging. Could anyone tell me the going rate for re-plastering a room of this size please?

Oh wants to do it himself but enuff is enuff…..its like watching paint dry and I want it finished in a day not a month.
