Defra have just called and informed me they have installed an exclusion zone around my house.
I've tried to call Auntie Daisy in Surrey for a bit of advice but for some reason she is not answering her 'phone (could have something to do with her cloven hoof and lack of opposable thumbs, I suppose).
I wouldn't mind but I should be attending the AGM of the Ancient and Loyal Order of Ruminants tonight with a keynote speech by our esteemed leader Aloysius the Alpaca - a once in a lifetime event with a five course banquet of grass washed down by gallons of Sheepdip.
Oh well.

The sheep have been baaaaaaarrrred from the Bakewell Pudding Shop here in Derbyshire.

I am sending a "flock" of pigeons with supplies and I will ask the Squadron Leader, to give a message to Daisy for you.

Is that Squadron Leader "Squawk" McTaylor of 22nd Bakewell Flight, by any chance?
Haven't seen the old blighter in years although I did see his Lieutenant Pigeon recently.
Last time we met up was in Blighty during the Friesian Wars of '98.
Do give my regards and thank him for his mercy dash.

The very same, Sqwarky says "he'll do anything for ewe" Happy to oblige Old Bean.

Wing Commander Frank Ifield says "I remember ewe". .

He was looking a bit sheepish, cos he had just fleeced his mates at cards. They can't pull the wool over his eyes.

Thanks Errol . Had a good chuckle. Thanks.

A bit of light hearted humour never did anyone any harm, did it S&L?
How is the Wing Commander's gammy leg, incidentally?

Sadly Sean has got a tad bit too used to the limelight and will not talk to us lower ruminants now.
I'm sure it is just a phase he is going through.

Giving him a bit of gyp ya know. Been flying a bit too close to the wind just lately and upset the ladies in the Naafi, when he had to make an emergency landing. One old girl is now dating him on a permanent basis. Well she will be when she is out of hospital, the landing was a bit of a shock to her but at least the Wing Commander had a soft landing.

Just heard the Bakewell Bunch are being moved. I'll have to attend to their needs.

Tally ho

My understanding is that the Bakewell "Bunch" (gawd bless 'em) are being amalgamated with the Desert Camels and are worried about the change in climate.

The briefing is 0600 tomorrow. They have been sworn to secrecy and some of the have taken the "hump".

They think the powers that be are pulling a flanker. Offers of them making a mint. what a sauce. They have decided to stage a sit in, they don't want a cutlet in pay. I thinks someones for the chop.
