A metre is three foot three it's bigger than a yard, you see.

Does this mean that I am good at maths and stuff?

I would thank you bob, but i don't know what you are talking about.

When I was at school we had to learn pounds and ounces..... now they are blinkin obsolete!!
And they want me to learn the euro stuff.

Same with feet and inches, and they are now changing grammar..... the times I was shouted at for getting things wrong!!

AND NOW IT DOESN'T MATTER!!;-0(

hi Harper,i think it would be better to forget putting music on floppys,as you stated floppys have 1.4 mb storage space,a standard music track is between 2 to 4 mb ,you said the person you are doing them for dos'nt have a cd,if you are trying to put them onto a floppy, i take it she has a pc,can you not copy to a cd and could the person not play them on their pc?

I have pm'd dodger. Sorry everyone I went into the garden to check the washing and had a tiny little fly go into my eye. Result eye started streaming and was quite painful couldn't see properly. Motto HOUSEWORK IS DANGEROUS and should carry a health & safety warning. Loved all your comments but sorry Jen and Bob all that tech info went over my head.

Sorry if I confused you......I confuse myself at times also!!
you dont these days have to know HOW a computer works......the REAL question was "how much can you get onto a floppy?"......but as Dodger has pointed out, a floppy won't hold much music.

I used to back up my FTM vers 6 program to 3.25 in. ?floppies

the last time I did it, it took 22 floppies, now with the FTM 2005 it hardly uses much of a cd........or a 512Mb flashdrive.
