small world wen ur on the net it took me ages to find his relatives because all i had was his mums name and last known address he was in a home from birth you see so i wanted to find them for him thats how i came to be a member of gr |

hi natile its a tough process when thats all you have to go on i had the same problem and i started by looking for hilton relatives in the area whereshe was last known to live .then i sent an email to everyone who had hiltons in the area i was searching and waited till someone got back to me it was worth it though as i finnally found them |

if you know the area where he was born you could look up his birth on the register and that might give you more information on his mum it could help you then to trace if she got married or has since died |

the next step would be to do a name search with other peoples tree and see if anyone has a relative by that name by doing this you can then work through the process of elimination ie age area of birth ect. |
