Wow Lynda, we obviously didn't wear her out then! :))) must admit, I slept like a log, Lol :))) I'm so glad all the children enjoyed themselves, whatever their age... and we were so lucky with the weather too, hope to see them all again next year, soon comes round you know :))) And I'm sure I could manage to give Linda and David a push on a swing too :))) no excuses for not coming to join us, Lol. No Lynda, I was the boss eyed one with a plaster over the lens of me National Health glasses (thank goodness for Moorfields who corrected my squint eventually), and my mum always knitted blue boleros for me, to match the colour of the speccy frames. It was my sister who always wore pink and picked her nose. LOL Dee x

Blimey Lynda, our paths MUST have crossed years ago in the British Museum. I used to go there all the time as a kid with my younger sister and various playmates. We always made straight for a look at 'Ginger'...I think it was the museum guide who used to be sitting at the door to where Ginger was exhibited who called him that, and we kids copied him. I think he was called Peat Bog Man really. He's not really a skelington though...he's sort of mummified from lying in the peat for years. I last went to the BM about 4 years ago, and yes, Yvette is right, Ginger is still there, except now, instead of being a million years old like he was in my yoof, he's a million and forty. Dee x

Boys went to bed about 10.30 last nigth, one was awake at 8 other had to be woken for breakfast about 8.15. Tho Nathan did have nap whilst in the park!! Both in bed early tonight!!!! Luke was rather smitten by a certain young lady as well!!

Could be Yvette, but he was known as Ginger, because he had a little tuft of reddish hair :) You look far better than him, believe me:))

Do you mean the bog man..or Lindow man as they now call him? if so yes he is still there. I have to say he is aging far better than i am....lol

Thanks Yvette, my favourite thing there used to be 'Ginger' the skeleton of a man, from way back, forget the story to him, but always thought how sad it was he wasn't buried. So evertime I went there I popped in to see him. I expect he's still there, maybe he will recognise me when I go back:))))

I'm not suprised Lynda, i don't think she stopped all afternoon, lol.....she was delightful.

As for the Museum, it was my first visit in about 15 years and has changed so much. Sadly it was packed with tourists which meant it was hard to get round, but nice to see so many people interested in their/our history.

My favourite was the Celtic/Roman displays, Mal's was the African...and it was stunning, as for Adam, he loved the Egyptian displays.

Thanks Deb :))) Yvette, my little one has been to sleep twice today, so it did get to her eventually:)) How did you enjoy the British Museum? I used to go there every Saturday, when at school, loved the place, could walk there, or bus it easily, so really on the doorstep. Going in a few weeks, anything I must see?

I wish!!! I gave in and went to sleep before Adam, and he woke us up at 7am this morning!

Mind you it meant we were up, breakfasted and on our way to Kensington Palace nice and early, so much so we even got time to go the the British Museum after.

Hi Deanna :)) The weather was o.k, bit windy at times, but the children never noticed, it didn't rain, until we left the park. No wonder Maz chooses Regents park for the meet, it had a lovely tea wagon there, which sold healthy food, not a burger to be seen:)) The toilets in the play park could only be used by children, or adults with a child, and they were cleaned throughout the day. Really safe place for the children, my little one loved it, and I could see her playing all of the time, lovely for he to have a bit of space without me breathing down her neck all the time:)))

Yes we planned it that way:)) David would want all the attention, and the kids would have been left out. Do you know how much attention he wants Helen? Loads & loads:))
