someone tried to break into my daughters car on the easter bank holiday, they left their screwdriver behind but forensics said after testing it that there was too much dna on it to pinpoint who done it. she now has her lock covered and hopefully her fob battery wont wear out or she'll have to get in car thro the boot, lol. jean

I will be careful Liz but hopefully these people will see that they have come to the wrong area and that even at 2 in the morning someone will see what they are up to. Thanks for your support xx

Jax, glad you are ok and they just ran off but please think twice if you are in any situations like that again,there have been far too many good people killed trying to protect their property by these toerags who think they are in for easy pickings. I would have done the same. I think.....how dare these people help themselves to other peoples property. One of our cars was stolen and found burnt out the next day...........wish I had caught them!! xx

To be honest Romany we have one of those police forces that are useless. I think they will take a statement if i nag them and that will be it but I need a crime reference number for the insurance so will keep onto them. Taff OMG ya worse than me lol

I keep a can of lighter petrol by my bed.and any messing my excuse is: well I was just filling my lighter, heard a noise, ran outside, tripped over, and heyho my lighter worked!! not my fault they were in the wrong place at the right time!!! that works great on burglars aswell!
