Well if you're happy wearing and look good in it why not just go for it! Who are 'they' to dictate what we should wear? Sue x |

You are only 39 and 1 day old, so wear what feels right for you. As long as you don't get arrested for indecent exposure:))))))) |

irrespective of age you should dress to please yourself do you really need magazines to tell you what to wear, whatever you feel comfortable in, and feel good in is probably right for you. some women, and also men, sometimes look like mutton dressed as lamb, but there again its personal choice. there i am trying to be sensible if that's possible. |

Don't you mean mutton dressed as lamb?:-) I suppose you're right but I hate being told what to do. I 'm 55 and suppose I dress 'appropriately' for my age but that doesn't mean we can't be fashionable and choose those fashions that we like Sue x |

The other thing to remember is that on your 40th birthday you're only 1 day older than the day before! So why change things at all Sue x |

Hayley, turning 40 does not mean you have to change your style overnight, and certainly not to wearing lisle stockings and tweed skirts! Dress how you dressed yesterday and last week, and last month. |
