Thanks for ALL your good wishes!! I'm really touched. I now have to phone the licensing peeps & get the wheels in motion about getting my licence re-issued. Unfortunately, I can't drive until it comes through but at least there's light at the end of the tunnel!! The consultant told me that it is likely now that I never had a brain tumour at all - I must have had several seizures without realising it (is this possible??) & that the 'tumour' was caused by seizure activity, not the 'tumour' causing seizure activity (does that make sense??) - apparently it's rare, but on the increase!! I do know that the month before I became ill was the most stressful month of my whole career - I could actually feel the electricity in my whole body & almost felt that there were sparks bouncing off me. Lesson learned: school WILL not get to me any more - or at least I'm going to have to learn to deal with stress & not let it build to the same levels as before!! Now all I need is for the Occupational Health Dr to grant my request for a 3-day week for the next academic year!! Once again - thanks everyone for your good wishes!! Ails xoxox
