The article shows just how lovely Clive was Headline Village Stalwart dies aged 72 Widow in pledge to honour his memory. The widow of a tireless community worker has vowed to honour his memory by carrying on his efforts to protect the future of the village he loved. Clive Buckle dedicated years of life safeguarding the future of ( Edited, ( Name of village :) The former naval officer and IT consultant was the architect of the village design statement and spent four years working on the project which will guide planners and help protect the character of the area. He was also the chairman of the Memorial Hall. He worked hard to canvas the views of residents on how they wanted their community to be His widow said his death will be an awful loss to the community. He worked his socks off for the village, he spent years poring over the design statement, carrying out surveys, setting up exhibitions, talking to people and it was finally adopted by the city council this year. Clives widow vows to continue to carry on that work in Clives memory. Clive was a keen photographer and even set up a male only floristry workshop but had to leave when he kept winning all the prizes. Clive certainly was a stalwart and will be missed by many

Clive PM'd me a couple of times last month when I had queries about my tree. He was a gent and looking at these tributes here to him he will be sadly missed. I hope his widow will get some comfort looking at these messages. RIP Clive
