I have 9 months to the big 50, I can't think of anything to do. I might have to wait and find something extraordinary to do before I am 60. skwirrel |

Don't want to be a wet blanket BUT - you're all pre-supposing that good health will prevail. Well let me tell you that things don't always go to plan. I had all sorts of plans but didn't bargain on health problems. Go for it if you must but be realistic that you just may not be able to do all you planned. On the plus side, I would never had found this site or the boards if all things had been equal. Jill x |

I'm just focused on 50 because it's my next big birthday but I don't intend to waste any time from here on in. One thing the past two years have shown me is that life's too short not to grab it with both hands and enjoy! Can't make 18th unfortunately Lynda but we'll have to catch up for that girly day very soon ok? Daisy |

Watcha Daisy Doo Dah, lovely to see you :))))) Sounds like you're having a great time, good on you. Throughout my life, I always have aims, whatever my age, I always want something to look forward to, and the next challenge. Nearly did an airal runway thingy, over a river, when in Cuba last year, that looked really great, but we couldn't change our money, and they wouldn't accept pounds, but would love to try that another time. At the minute the aim is just getting another house, and then it'll be going away more, to places I haven't yet visited. By the way, will you be tin London on the 18th? x x |

So many names/faces I haven't seen for a while! Hi everyone! Turned 46 last week so 4 years to pack a few more things in. Next on the list are: A sky dive Abseiling down Table Mountain Running the Two Oceans Half Marathon in Capetown And, less extreme but proving more difficult, finish writing my first book and maybe even get it published. I want to move to South Warwickshire (some hope), print my entire tree out, see my kids become parents (if they choose to), have a couple more holidays, see the government doing some good. |

WOW.......Daisy, it sounds like you had a fantastic time. The only brave thing I have ever done is to go on a white knuckle ride at Buch Gardens with Alex (Steve hurt his shoulder, cause he fell off the monkey bars while hanging upside down) lol Good to see you back. Love Suzy :o) xx |

Good for you Daisy. We are off to Wales again and hope to do some cycling this time, along the Millenium Coastal Path cycle pathway. Won't try at the beginning of the holiday tho just in case I do myself an injury lol My pal will be staying in Cambridge the first week of Sept so might get over to visit her for a couple of days, will let you know if I do.
