I see that 'Chat' was mentioned, I wasn't here when the old style running chat was in place, though I believe some found it better, I wonder if anyone who was here then would like to say whether they prefer the old or 'new'?

The old chat was people really like being on one thread Rose, there was a clique of people who used it daily, and often ignored you if you went on, so you ended up talking to yourself, nothing new there then :-D

Lynda, I have seen some of the old style Chat , in as much as a person I used to know used quite a distinctive name on it so their conversations can still be picked out .

I never really go the point of it Rose, someone would go on and start a conversation, then someone else would join in, then a 3rd 4th etc. Then supposing you went on and started chatting about another subject, the first lot would carry on, often ignoring you, or if you joined on they'd still ignore you, daft idea :-D A few members used to "meet up" on there at 1 0'clock :-S Hilarious :-D

Those who can't sleep or live in Antipodes often meet up now at 4am. Quite fun, though often ends up with a discussion about cooking furry road kill just off M25 :-) ;-)
