I have fridge magnets all over my fridge, or did until 2year old grandaughter arrived yesterday, she started to move them around, take them off etc. Then we watched her, she took one off opened the rubbish bin next to the fridge and dropped it in. if we hadn't seen her we would have wondered where they had all gone. My favourites are out of reach now but it did give us a chuckle!! ann Glos

I have to admit I have a few, My favourites are (from my daughter) If mothers were chocolates, you'd be the one i'd pick. If I had known grand-children were so much fun i'd have had them first. When I count my blessings I always count you twice. My husband says he'll leave me if I dont stop shopping !Lord, i'll miss that man. Love Bridget x

I have fridge magnets on the side of my tall fridge, they are used to hold up all the picture postcards i receive. The grandchildren like to look at them and re-arrange them too.

On my fridge at the moment.......... It is better to divorce than murder. (gift from a friend when my divorce was so awful, it made me smile again) Cleanliness is next to godliness, tidiness is next to impossible. I would be unstoppable, if i could just get started. I DON'T do mornings. Squeeze me real hard, I'm good under pressure. Would you like to speak to the man in charge, or the woman who knows whats happening? If at first you don't succeed, try it your wifes way. The rooster may crow but its the hen that delivers the goods. The boss may not always be right....but she is always the boss. and just to prove i have a soppy side too... Love is homemade. Love is tying the knot (bought after realising that i was doing the right thing getting married the second time ---i took some persuading) and my favourite Love does not consist in gazing at each other - but in looking outward together in the same direction. Hi Lorr, what a brilliant thread! Bryan, I have come across a compromise - when we got a new fridge/freezer, I wanted it to stay looking like one, so my fridge magnets are very neatly put on the side! I love the 'grumpy' one, as that is my son's pet name for my dad (his grandad)!. When I married Mr Right, I didn't realise his middle name was Always. I keep losing weight but it keeps finding me. If there's no chocolate in heaven, then I ain't going there! Middle age is when a broad mind and a narrow waist exchange places. Love conquers all things, even snoring. Forget love, I'd rather fall in chocolate. Mandy :))

I like to bring one back from holiday. A reminder of happy days. They are useful for holding things though - little notes from grand children or their drawings. Oh and the football fixtures of my husband's team so i know in advance if he'll be here or not on a Saturday afternoon! Jane

I have lots of alphabet letter magnets, and when ever anyone comes over they spell rude words out on my fridge :-) I dont think I can repeat any of them on here though :-) Well maybe just 2 that my Dad put on my fridge - Willy and Fart :-) Karen

Bryan you can hardly see that my fridge is white! I seem to have ditties and 'fruit' etc all over it and some of them just appeared I swear. I think they multiply when I'm not looking! x

Mothers hold their children's hands a while, and their hearts forever. God couldn't be everywhere, so he made Grandma's. Don't question your wife's judgement - look who she married. I started out with nothing and I still have most of it. Sometimes I wake up grumpy, other days I let him sleep. I'm stubborn - only when I don't get my own way Mum's Rules If I cook it- you will eat it If I mend it - you will wear it If I buy it - you will like it If I say no - you don't argue If I say get off the 'phone - you hang up If I say bedtime - you say goodnight If you ask why - it's because I'm your Mum Luv Lorr x x x
