Its funny how we get so attached to them! We have a mongrel that I got from the dogs home and I dont know what I would do if anything happened to her as she really is part of the family! I hadnt planned on getting a dog and had gone with a mate who was getting a pup but I fell in love with Millie straight away and brought her home! I really hope your little lad gets better soon and can soon be home with you!! Bev

Hi there,I rescued a Samoyed 10 months ago and within 1 week of getting him he was rushed into animal hospital and stayed for 1 week. After 2 days, the vet wanted him put down, but I fought for him. Within 1 week, his bill was over £1000.00 as he was diagnosed with diabetes and acute pancreatitis. I didn't even have time to get insurance on him! I know how you feel about seeing him in the vet. It is heartbreaking. I feel for you. Good luck Elaine
