Hi Suzanne, I could write pages an pages on my experiences and proof of Spirit, but very briefly, I have had messages from 4 mediums over the last 10 years, and all have given me the same names, and information. The mosts memorable was Colin Fry. I appeared on 6th Sense last year. I can say hand on heart that it is NOT fixed. He gave me my Dad's name, and event s that had happened when I was a child that I had forgotten about. About 15 minutes was broadcast on TV but he actually spoke to me for about 30! Also one medium in particular told me my daughter would have a scar on her right side and 6 weeks later she was rushed into hospital completely out of the blue with appendicitis. Also she is a police officer and she said 'be careful of railway lines'...to cut a long story short she was chasing a scally along the railway and her hat flew off, she bent to pick it up and saw a metal spike sticking out of the ground. If she had not stopped she would have tripped on it and it would probably gone straight through her stomach! Keep believing!

Valerie. I just love your story. I think life presents some extraordinary coincidences, or whatever you would like to call them. But it makes you think. BC+

I am interested in spiritualism but have never been to a meeting. My mother used to go though and I vaguely remember her telling us how the medium had told her she had a little dog at her feet and described my mothers childhood pet very accurately even the breed. I don't know whether this is spiritualism or not but our daughter has recently broken up with her partner after 6 years together. The one before this lasted 3 years. She now has a new male friend who lives in another country and they seem to be compatible (They met through work). Well, last week I was helping a friend clean a theological college and during the boring chore of vacuuming asked inwardly, 'If this is her soulmate please give me a sign'. I carried on with the task and couldn't believe my eyes when under a chair lay a diamond which had obviously fallen out of someones jewellery. Could this be 'The sign' or just coincidence. Probably coincidence but weird all the same.

I wasent a believer until my little boy started seeing an old man in the house we had recently moved into. Myself my girlfriend and my two year old son lost our house in 2000 we were given a housing assoseation property until the council could find us somewhere perminant. One day we heard my little boy scream from upstairs thinking he had hert himself me and the misses rushed up. He kept saying there was a man in his room. We reasurred him that it was nothing to worrie about its just a friendly ghost we said. From then on he'd say that mans here again mum my misses was quite scared especially when one day we were in bed and he said that mans in bed with us. Eventually the misses got so freaked out that she had a spirtulist come round. They said they had removed one spirit from the house,an old man who had died there. The other they said was an old relitive of mine just popping in to see how the little boy was doing. He was left to come and go.As my son got older he mentioned less and less about it.Today at 5 he has no recolection of it atall. I swear to god this is a true story. Regards Simon

i believe too many things have happened that we cant explain, and mediums have said stuff that only we knew and on one occasion we didnt until the next day, the last few weeks several things have happened that have been like someones listening to me asking silently, ive had two taps on my shoulder and my hair flicked, all of which you could say were my imagination, but me and my daughter were in her room talking one night, hubby was drunk in next room and i was thinking , i wish youd give him a nudge mum, as he was particularly obnoxious that evening wed been out, and i wanted some sign she was watching, (she asked if he was being good before she left us, it makes me smile). also the other day he was snappy when he wanted waiting on and daughter refused to make him another cuppa, he moaned and stamped out to the kitchen , when he sat back by the tv the digital box started going mad with numbers (usually there are 3 in a row, but for some reason there were 4) the numbers were going up and down fast, after id left for work he said there were words appeared inplace of the numbers, kil and good, then it returned to normal, a few weeks before we had police turn up at door again at lunch hour saying someone phoned 999 from our house, none of us had as we were just getting ready to leave the house, and our daughter was laying on settee ill, i am only curious is it really spirit or just coincidence, when hubby gets a little huffy,

Suzanne It is worth reading Tracy Blackburns thread 'Life after Death -does any one believe' You can get to it by entering the first three words in the box at the top of the Message List. I have made a more technical approach to the paranormal in my thread 'Ghosts in the head or bats in the belfrey' David Men pride themselves on being 'rational' beings and lean over backwards to prove it. I don't know if I believe or not, I want too though. My Aunt who is as straight and honest as they come is a believer. The other day she was with her daughter discussing what she should do now she has left her (violent) husband (at long last). When all of a sudden the metal sppons etc she has hanging on a wall rack started moving and rattling quite violently. My cousin was terrified, but my Aunt said don't worry its only your Grandma and Aunty Sheila (my Mum) telling you to listen to me. She then said that's enough Mum and Sheila, Sarah knows I am right and it stopped immediatley!! Very strange, with no explanation, everything else like curtains never moved. Sarah is still spooked by it. Rebecca

definate believer here ! I did my family Tree using the information a Medium gave me. The only two bits that didn't fit into the bigger picture were: 1) Twin Boys 2) A girl called Rachel. A month or so ago, Denise found a Monumental Inscription for a rellie of mine. Who should be on the Gravestone ? twin brothers, my James and his twin brother William ! who I didn't know existed ! Last February ( and we only clicked to this a month or so ago as well ) my daughter and her fella of 2 years split up. Turns out the lad had been two timing her ... with a girl called Rachel ! Even my Father was shocked, when I asked if he had a Harriet on his side of the family ? ... his sister Harriet died a week before he was born ... and NO ONE else knows except me & Dad ! ... oh, and Jane the Medium. Elaine :-)

My gr grandad went to a spiritulist church and a person there started telling him about the daughter he lost and about things she did that only he knew, to me you live and die but there is to many unexplained things for it not to happen. One night my husband and I were lying in bed when we heard a voice saying ''mummy I love you'' I lost a baby before John but I was just pregnant

At my spiritulist church there are more women then men, but even so, there are a good sprinkling of men who do go.(About a third) I think that most women tend to have a more open mind than most men. (not saying this is the norm for each individual) Elaine x
