I was a a 40th party and it was a cowboys and indians theme and there was also a mechanical bucking bull that was great and the costumes were great too Donna |

My final thought for the night - expensive I expect - but very posh - The French Court - all powdered wigs and brocade and TIGHTS ....Oooooh those calves! lol or Regency England - you'd get away without the wigs - but TIGHTS! Yeah! lol or (gin working now lol) Pirates Tom Jones (the book) - all buxom wenches and blokes in shirts with frills and TIGHTS!! Many years ago we had a 'Night Attire' party. (We live in a posh area so a pyjama party was out of the window:-)) It went down a storm.It depends on your interpretation of night attire. Some turned up in P.J.s, one friends wife turned up in basque and stockings, men in nighties, me in a giant fluffy baby grow but the most inovative idea was two male friends, one of whom arrived in a sleeping bag and the other wearing a sheet. Neither of them had much else on. (The one in the sleeping bag was made to hop across the road when getting out of the car) We played pass the parcel and drank lethal punch. Needless to say, when the guy with the sheet left the sheet was removed from him and his mate turned the car headlights on him. Do you know, just after this event the property prices plummeted round our way, can't imagine why:-) O.K. I confess, it was Sept 1988 just after the end of double MIRAS. We missed it by 19 days :-( |

He is tall and skinny and wouldn't get away with it...But Margaret Thatcher now there you may of come up with a perfect one for his Mrs.. Ma'am Maggie has a ring to it ...HaHaHaHa...But then how many more duties would Jamie get for that...Not as many as he would for asking them to wear nappies and suck dummies for the night....HaHaHaHa Susie babes...xx |

I had 2 successful theme parties in my past..... Futuristic - Someone even turned up as that 2 headed guy from Hitchhikers Guide, someone else came as a hydroponic dope plant (lots of bubble wrap and well placed leafs. lol) i wore a long toga type thing - i was living on Venus.... i didnt realist till following week, when photos came out, that it was completely see thru!! lol Colours - everyone has to wear one colour of their choice, can be different shades but ALL items of clothing must be same colour..... checking for cheats is permitted. lol |

Could you imagine a baby and toddler night in the mess and the guest's of honour(The Colonel & Wife) sitting at the top of the table in nappies, sucking a dummy and drinking from a baby bottle to me that is hysterical...that thought will linger..I will probably be laughing in my sleep.... susie babes:-) |
