I'm from Yorkshire and love them, but can honestly say I've NEVER had them with anything sweet on! Just asked my hubby and he has. Will have to try it now :) Joanne

behave you:):) i was brought up around farms here...most used to make yorkshires in a big metal oblong shallow dish...so everyone got a piece with crispy edge and softer middle..delicious:)

My kids love them but the best bit is to eat with fresh cream and golden syrup as a pudding yumyumyumm!

I thought they originally were piled up on the table and you took one, filled it with meat gravy and vegetables, and then had another one if you wanted seconds. Then if there were any left afterwards, cover em in jam and get munchin'.
