The Pub is called The Shakespear and I think it's the only one just opposite the station. We usually have the whole of the basement bar to ourselves, so if you are a bit late just listen out for the rowdy din wafting up the stairs - that'll be us! Carolyn |

Got it!.. thanks Caroline, hope to c u there. Itsy Ps is there only one pub opp station...it would be just like me to do the same in a pub, join a crowd, say hello, everyone look at me as i were mad and me go beetroot, fall off my stool in the panic to disappear into the floor! |

We usually meet at 12.30 ish and wait around until 1.00 and then wander over to the pub which is just opposite the station. Hope to see you there. Carolyn |

Kerry, If it's the same place as the February one, I didn't see any smoke - but then I did leave early. Probably just as well if things got THAT hot!!! LoL Look forward to staying longer next time and to meeting you to discuss shillelagh tactics, of course. CB >|< X |

Kerry you won't realise quite how hilarious that question is!!! When the first london meet was arranged, we were told to meet under the clock near platform 13. When we got there .... NO CLOCK!!!! Still, we managed to meet - some of us are not so shy and retiring as we seem on here! Meeting point is still the same - near platform 13, by Burger King!! Look forward to seeing you, and Itsy too!!
