It was amazing wasn't it and thought provoking. I didn't realise that babies were quite so aware in the womb. |

Unfortunately there are those who hold human life in scant regard whichever excuse they use to justify their beliefs. |

I say Bendy!! I was shocked too Paul. I think it just goes to show how some of these priests have no real understanding of human feelings; having never been married or parents. Thank you Sarah. My friend is now 19 weeks pregnant again, and we have everything crossed for her. Programme has just finished. I want another baby!! LOL |

What a kind caring man he sounds.....not. I hope your friend is Ok. I was anti abortion until my sister was told at 12 weeks that her baby was not developing properly and she would almost definately miscarry at some stage during the pregnancy, that there was no way this baby would live. She opted for an abortion which was a difficult thing for her. |

Suzy - what a despicable attitude towards the loss of a life, I'm shocked. |

Despite being a Catholic, I tend to agree with you Chloe. I love my church and most of its teachings, but a friend of mine lost a baby at 33 weeks last year, and our priest did not go to see her. His argument was that the child had never breathed and therefore was never born, so could not be baptized. So, how can the church be so against abortion. |

Missed it, as was watching Desperate Housewives from last night. I am pro-choice though. I don't want to get into another discussion about it but I think those who are anti-abortion and think that those who have abortions ALL use it as contraception should meet those who have gone through an abortion and realise that it's not an easy decision to make. Watching a programme won't persuade me either way. I've already seen how horrific abortion is and even that won't make me anti it. Abortions have been going on since time began! And they always will, no matter what the law is. As for seeing a child in the womb before it is born, it is amazing to see how fast they develop. I wish 3D scans were on the NHS! |
