Do we really want to watch 'wannabe' celebrities getting hot and steamy on a desert island? I know I won't be watching!! Think this reality TV lark is dragging the bottom of the bucket now....Bev

Hi Bev I must admit - I wont be watching this. Though Im not a fan of reality tv I have to also admit to watching Big Brother. I never like it when it first starts, but I find myself having a quick peek when its on then I am hooked before I know it. Vikki xx

I agree with you James....the only thing the majority of the so called celebs are famous for are their kiss and tell stories! Do I really want to watch Rebecca Loos and Abi Titmus...nah! Bev

How many of the Love Island 'contestants' are married or in long term relationships ??

PolperroPrincess

PolperroPrincess Report 16 May 2005 10:10

Not sure Wendy but I know some of the contestants include Abi Titmus, Rebecca Loos, Isabelle Hervey, Jayne Middlemass and a girl from Atomic Kitten! The lads include Callum Best, Micheal Grecco and Fran Cosgrove who apparently is game for R.Loos and A.Titmus at the same time...sad really! Bev

It's lazy programming really, if you took away all the programmes that had Celebrity in the title, ITV would barely have anything left to show. From what I read, Celebrity Wrestling is getting the can, as it failed abysmally in the ratings battle against the Beeb showing Doctor Who. Predictably, ITV will rely on showing the original Star Wars trilogy to get them out of a hole. Also, seeing as we've had Hell's Kitchen, how long will it be before we have Hell's Garden with a profane Charlie Dimmock presiding over the usual bunch of failed celebs and general non-entities, whilst wielding a pitch fork? It could happen......lol
