I don't like it. Got rid of the lines, thank goodness, but the text for the thread titles is still small, changed my text size and it just made the other bits, time last post and amount of posts big as well as the threads themselves. Still tiny writing on the titles. What a joke.

Easier to read now but not this afternoon when some members needed a magnifying glass to read the boards, and authors of threads names where huge, so where any numbers like dates etc., Since then it has been made much better, but only after GR technical team got it sorted. Pat

An even quicker route: Along the top, directly under the blue bar , click on Tools; Internet Options is the last one on the drop-down menu. Mainly thanks to Peter but a little thank you to hubby! Mandy :)

To get rid of the underlining: just found this on tips board and it works!! Added by Peter Morgalla on 18/05/2005 20:00:44 Looking better now in my browsers. The underlining is due to your IE settings If you want to get rid of the underlining on web links Go Start, Controll Panel, Network and Internet Option and Internet Options This should give you the Internet Propertis dialogue box. Select the Advanced tab then scroll down under browsing until you see Underline links. Then check Hover or Never, rather than Always.

Very good point, Daniel! A lot less user friendly this way, but I highly doubt they'll listen to us - we're only paying members of this site after all!

Pat Report 18 May 2005 18:27

I had this thought maybe the underlining of the threads and authors was only seen by the full members? similiar thing to a link which normally has a line underneath. That could be so non members could only see the topics but could not click on the threads and read all the information. Well I was hoping that may have been what was happening. Thank you Estelle, maybe at the next update the Technical staff could try that, would be a brilliant update. Regards, Pat x

I think you may need to put a thread up Estelle? Does this mean the underlining is staying as well? Donna

Font size changes. The font sizes on GR have changed to conform with accessibility guidelines - allowing the user to vary text through the browser. Then why was it smaller, I hear you say. I've now increased font sizes in the message boards, the rest of the site stays the same. I've also added more space between links to threads, I hope this makes it easier to read. Apologies for the aching eyes. GR technical staff
