And Another!!! : Payment Options | | | Inbox HERITAGE COURIER SERVICES INT. 20th, May 2005 ATTENTION:Karen Smith, Compliments of the day to you. your cheque will be couried to the bank for final payment. You can now begin the final step of the claims process, which is the transferring of your cash prize to you. With regards to this, there are two options open to you, you are required to select the most convenient of the two. The options, together with their associated conditions are presented below: Option 1: Courier of your winning draft to you via any of this channel listed below: FEDEX Mailing..............................................£505.00 Insurance.........................................£350.00 Vat (5%)..........................................£422.75 TOTAL.............................................£1277.75 TIME OF DELIVERY.............................48 HOURS UPS Mailing &n bsp;...................................£489.00 Insurance..........................................£350.00 Vat (5%)..........................................£321.95 TOTAL.............................................£1060.95 TIME OF DELIVERY..................................72HOURS POST OFFICE MAIL Mailing ;............................................£330.00 Insurance..........................................£350.00 Vat (5%)..........................................£219.00 TOTAL.............................................£899.00 TIME OF DELIVERY...................................5 DAYS The insurance company declined reverse payment for the courier, stating that it is against their professional policy towards ensuring the safe delivery of the draft to you. That if a reverse payment is made, and something goes wrong, that we/you cannot sue the courier company or insurance company to recover the full value of t he fund as stipulated in the draft since payment for insurance cover was not made at point of mailing. With the above reason, reverse payment is ruled out.Forward the cost of mailing your draft with any of the courier channel cost you choose above to us. Option 2: The said amount claim £500,000 (Five hundred thousand pounds sterlings) wouldl be wired to your bank account via swift bank transfer. Condition: The cost of COT (commission of transfer) being charged by our transferring bank, which is (i.e £3,500) of the cash being transferred will be paid by you. Note that your prize is protected by a hardcover insurance policy, which makes it impossible to deduct any amount from the money before it has been remitted to you. This means that the above charges cannot be deducted from the prize and hence must be provided by you before your prize is transferred to you. Please respond to this email by making a selection from the two options above. Also attach a scanned copy of either your driver's licence, international passport (photo page) or any other legally identifying document. Also be reminded that the deadline for the claiming of winnings is exactly one week after the receipt of this email. Gary Report 20 May 2005 20:38

then when you reply, they will want all your bank details so they can transfer your winnings into your bank, or fleece you fo all yove got in it, remember anything to good to be true, is a scam , they ask you to wire money through the Western Union, classic Nigerian scam, they walk in a Wetern union branch any where in the world, get paid out in cash, your cash and cant be traced, your a danger to yourself and an easy victim for even thinking there might be any validity in this.

kaz

kaz Report 20 May 2005 20:41

when i got the first one and seen it had british lottery on it i replied, now i am getting worried, i have not given out my bank details and if and when they ask for them i will NOT be giving them out, i feel stupid now!!! Where do i go from here? i know dont tell me ive been scammed!!!! :(((((

Sidami

Sidami Report 20 May 2005 20:47

Karen, They are all scams I get loads of them also from Nigeria, telling me that someone has died and they want to put the money in my bank, they then want your bank details. If you have replied then I think you will be ok, but never ever give your details to them from your bank. JUST DELETE THEM ALL

Unknown Report 20 May 2005 20:47

If you pay them £1200 that's the last you will see of it. Every one which wants to take money off you in return for the promise of a lot of cash is a SCAM. http://www(.)consumer(.)org Type Scams into the Search Box.
