Thank you all for your replies so far. You have all put my mind at rest and made me feel better. I have been a bit down these past couple of days, worrying about the relay. I think we are going to have to have a set date for when she goes into and out of each group. Then each group will know where they stand and how long they have to get GB from the first to the last person in that group. Where there is a cluster of members, it may be better for members to meet up together with GB. I really would like to think that GB could be in the East of Scotland for New Years Eve. Can anyone see a problem with that? Jenny. xx

I'm not part of the relay but as long as GB has a warm coat and furry knicks I don't think it should be a problem.

I don't think there should be any time-limit on the relay. If it's still going on in November GB can come to the Maldives with me!! lol

I said right at the beginning that I didn't care if it took a month or a year! However long it takes - it will be a fantastic achievement! .....and you would DEPRIVE GB of Christmas and New Year if it came to it???? - you wicked woman! LOL Magsxxx

Jenny, I dont think it can be any other way with so many involved. I think all you can ask is that people dont hang on to GBear any longer than necessary. We still have the problem of handing over from Group 15 to 16 but I think we will have to meet that when it comes Thanks for all your hard work. June xx

Hi Jenny, I always thought it would take months. We never thought it would be a race did we? I don't remember any timescale being mentioned at the beginning. It takes as long as it takes - as long as we all get to meet her I don't think it really matters when. Gwynne

Hi Jenny, I dont think it really matters how long it takes, it was always going to take a bit of time and i dont see how it could happen any quicker when so many people are involved. Youve done a fantastic job getting the relay off the ground in the first place.

I have a few members expressing concern over the length of time the GB Relay is going to take. I would be grateful for comments and suggestions. Thank You. Jenny.
