Jay, I really hope you get this sorted soon - for your own peace of mind. I know its easy for me to say sweetie but you have taken more than enough and it is time you had a serious chat to them all. If I were in your shoes I would ask them all to a meeting to discuss the way forward on this and tell then that not attending is not an option - after all - they stand to lose their digs too. Try to stick to the point, ie no blaming or finger pointing, be very firm and tell them that you can no longer support them, so unless they square it up you will have to give them a months notice so you can find lodgers that will cough up their fair share. If you keep your voice low but firm they will probably be taken aback as they are probably expecting a huge row - do not give them one. Put agreements/outcomes on paper and pin it on the fridge for them to keep reminding them. If they fail to act hun - DO IT!! Give them written notice - I think you'll find they'll soon start to play ball once they realise that you mean every word of it. This is when i find out if people (my brother,his girlfriend and lodger) give me rent,they owe £2030 all in all.If not then i loose place i live( i have been going without food and paying bills so i can keep this).I have been saying this for while, to my friends that when i go i will just leave in car and drive,do fruit picking or something....I am so scared but i can't get as bad as i did few months back....NO......People say i softy for letting them off so long but this month £20 instead of rent £250 and owes £750 is taking the.pee..This maybe a strange thing todo...Frosty the hippy lol.....That scares me...Sorry to burden you all but.......................Going out for walk now so chat in a bit......j
