Hello Sparkle I was told this morning by my surgery that all GPs now want people with lumps and bumps to be seen within a fortnight. That's good news for all concerned. Thinking of you. Jan

Hi there, good luck, try not to worry. I had one years back, got the appointment for the specialist (darent touch it myself in the meantime). When I got there it had disappeared! Felt a fool, but very relieved. He said sometimes the sebaceous glands ?? cause it and they can go on there own! So keep your chin up - at least you had the sense to go early.

Hi Sparkle hope all goes well for your appointment with the specialist.. Found lump myself too, also waiting for appointment, probably at Wm Harvey at Ashford. Have had several lumps and abscess removed in the past but this one feels different. Can't do anything, just have to pray for no bad news....and an appointment to get the ball rolling. Good wishes Jan

That's the hardest part over! I'm sure everything will be fine. I have to go for a follow up ultra sound tomorrow. They want to check my cyst has fully gone. If not they will use a fine needle to drain it - I can assure everyone that having had it done twice before it is not painful at all. And this is from someone who hates pain, needles, doctors, hospital - well everything medical really. Jane xx
