Staying in a Hotel in Edinburgh city centre about a month ago when I heard an argument going on in the street at about 1am. Looked out of the window to see three 'youths' pinning a man in a jacket and tie against the wall. Immediately jumped to the wrong conclusion (as you probably have) as it turned out that the 'respectable' bloke in the tie had had a row with his girlfriend and was threatening violence against her. The three lads were passers-by who were restraining him until he calmed down...

Diana, Thank God for that! The last thing I'd want to be is conservative with a small 'c'. (I knew what you meant - just got the wooden spoon out for a minute! LoL) Yes, meeting people does sometimes give a different impression from the one you get on the Board. I have to say, in some cases, so does meeting them more than once!!! ;>))) CB >|< X

CB LMHO. nothing wrong with it if your CB :-) After being involved in serious discussions on this board and having agreed many times with David and he with me, those two things would not have been my description of him, conservative especially would be the last thing he could be accused of. Sorry CB still love ya all the same lol. Pat x Oops and you Ann although didn't know you were Conservative! there now I was wrong lol.
