Hello, I haven't been doing much. I've been camping for a week. I also went white water rafting and completed a high ropes course. Today I went for a bike ride on the BMX track. On Tuesday I'll be going down to England for a few days. I'll be staying near Bath. I'm really looking forward to it. Lucia :-D |

Not recently but we went to the Gambia not long ago. There were children hanging onto the fence surrounding the hotel and shouting 'Hello Mister, what's your nice name'. This went on for days, every time we sat out on our balcony, they could see us through the gaps in the fence. They were asking for shampoo and anything else we had. Anyway, one day, my husband was sitting on the balcony reading and he heard the ususal' Hello, mister, what's your nice name'. He came out with an expletive beginning with B and ending in d. The next minute, the kids were saying, 'Hello, B.....d, have you got any shampoo' I nearly wet myself when he told me about it!!! Lynne |

Was in Glasgow with a friend last week to watch our sons take part in the Special Olympics. Glasgow did them (and us) proud - everyone was kind and welcoming and the organisation was marvellous! It was a most heart-warming event. Had hoped to include some family history research but the possible relative I'd written to there had moved and hadn't got the letter - pity! Hope everyone's holidays are as enjoyable! Liz |
