Nell It was really something to see so many European Countries joining in the vigil, really brings us all together. Myself and my children observed the two minutes silence via Radio 4 this morning, my second son Denzil reminded me to turn the radio on for the vigil. Tragedy like this does bring people together, obviously the opposite to what was wanted by the perpetrators of such evil. Pat x |

Pat I love the name Denzil! We observed the silence at our school, all the children sat under the trees outside - one little girl in reception sat beautifully even though a bumble bee landed on her dress - the deputy head removed it carefully! nell |

Nell My son is very proud of his name, he loves the fact that his elder brother is called David and that name is so common but there is only one other person known around here as Denzil funny enough he was a Rugby player called Denzil Jones, and my second son is a rugby fan, unlike me and my eldest who are soccer fans? strange but true. :-) My Hubby named him Denzil his middle name is Martin (which was my choice after Martin Luther King). When you look at the children it all means so much, the future, and the hopes they don't have to go through it all, we all felt so sad, cannot explain how sad. I cannot be in London I signed the book of condolences, but it isn't the same. Pat x |
