Oh my, what a worry I did not need tonight. I have now deleted it but am very upset at the thought. I have added to the thread on the tips board as others seem to have got the same (didn't realise that). Sorry for the panic but please be aware. Thank you for your replies.

I had one too for $69.00, I checked on my paypal site and nothing was taken out. May be a ruse to collect your banking details. I forwarded the e-mail spoof@paypal(.)com Val

As I understand it, Paypal (or similar) will never contact you for any reason othen than acknowledgement of the transaction YOU initiated. There are a lot of spurious e-mails in the system that encourage you to 'press this link' to take you to an often genuine-looking web site, where your details are then downloaded to rob you. The best advice is - DO NOT DO IT! If you do have any concerns, disconnect, then reconnect, and go direct to the official site and check your details. While this may not be totally foolproof, it will certainly be better than setting yourself up to getting scammed. Rob p.s. I'm sure I could get one a lot cheaper!

I see the address to forward fake e-mails to paypal didn't come out, paypal may be able to catch and prosecute these people. Address is, spoof at paypal(.)com use the proper at symbol and remove brackets Val

I had one today aswell saying I had bought a Milky Teeshirt or something!??? Just deleted it. No doubt it would have told me to click on a link to check my item and that is when they try to get your details. If in doubt delete any mails.
