I am really sorry but I can't reply to my messages....instead of a reply button I have a HAPPY GENES MESSAGE......See nothing has changed in a few days..... So to those who mailed me - thank you for your concern....and to those who posted on Diana's thread thank you.... The electricity came back at 10.30pm on Friday so pretty good for Grenada.... Water is still a problem as they are having to clean out the dam by hand!!! We all hunkered down in our downstairs apartment...my sister, the 3 lads from Wales, Poppin and me oh and 9 dogs (my sister has 4) and 1 cat. Very Cosy.....pretty scary though as we knew what we could expect....luckily no where near as bad as Ivan but the Storm went on all night...the hurricane hit at 1.00am Thurs. and lasted about 1hr and threequarters..but the storm continued until lunchtime on Thursday with a lot more rain than Ivan. We haven't had much sleep!!!! We were well prepared this time and my upstairs apartment was naked!!!!! Everythink packed away and safe and electrical stuff downstairs. Think I'll leave the stereo down there and the book etc packed up in plastic.....just in case.....it is very early in the season and looks as though it could be hectic!!!!! The telephone lines didn't come down so we had telephone all the time although that too was packed away!!! At least 10 houses where I live lost their new roofs (put on after Ivan) but luckily we were OK this time! (Good job....can't afford to replace the roof again!!). Well, at least now we know we can withstand a Cat. 1-2 but not a 4 as Ivan was. See you all later. Jacquie xxxx

Neither can I, and I really, really NEED to. It has gone on too long for me. I was up at 6.00 trying to put right a wrong. I hope it sorts itself out soon. Deanna

Emily is heading to the Yukaton....it will glance the SW corner of Jamaica on the way....it shouldn't be too bad for them although it is a cat 4 now!!!! Will be bad for Mexico!!!!! Jacquie xxxx

its lovely to see you back jacquie my son went off yesterday morning to see his in laws. he spoke to them on thursday night and they said that a few houses lost their roofs.and some trees had been uprooted. my son should be there by now and i miss him terribly lol he left the uk at 10 am yesterday morning and was heading for antigua.from there after a 3 hour wait he would be flying to the island. apparently he would arrive in st vincent at abt 6pm their time,12 midnight our time im so pleased that you are ok,i was so worried about you love susie

Yes Suzy the kids are fine and so is their mother....couldn't bring them in!!!! But we don't tie them and Margaret (Mum) took them way up in the bush....they were jumping around next morning safe and sound... Jacquie xxxx Susie pleased they got off OK I expect her mum will pleased to see them.

jacquie yes,cindys mum is so excited about seeing them she hasnt seen them for 2 years,since she went back home.and as for the baby,well she hasnt seen her at all yet,bless they are going to be spoilt rotten!lol their house is almost finished now.its taken 2 yrs but it will be worth it . cant wait to see the pics.i will then posst them on the GC photos page so everyone can have a look. ive just seen your pics on there and my word,your house is beautiful. susie
