I just checked my Name Summary for the first time in ages - I've got 125 different surnames in my tree! Can't possibly check all of them every two weeks. How does everybody else do it? Sal |

I've only got 30 different surnames & 103 individuals on here. That is just my fathers side, I haven't added mums side as my cousins have pretty comprehensively covered that back to the 1600s. Vivienne PS I don't add until I have verified all info. |

Blimey, Debbie, I'm impressed! Yes, some of mine are just 'married in's so I don't extend their branches or chase up their surnames in 'Names Summary'. It is a bit disconcerting to have 7 pages of surnames on there though! Pipsy, don't give up - I started two years ago and got nowhere til i found a couple of relatives on the site who were a huge help. I can't believe the kindness of people who will share their hard-earned research with others. It does help to have rare surnames - my Dad's side are all Dixons and Adams's and I've got nowhere yet! Mam's side are all really unusual names - makes look-ups at the FRO easier too! Sal.x |

Bow, Be careful what you wish for - last time I looked, I only had about 30 surnames - my tree seems to have expanded on me! |
