Hi Baby Butterfly - I'm getting really confused now - must be nearly bedtime, lol. Why do you have to insure a car you don't have and why pay a whole year extra for something that doesn't exist? Please put an old lady's brain out of it's misery, ta. xx |

BB, Not sure if im 100% right here hun, but please check, im sure you have to be the legal owner of something to insure it, especially as you would be the main driver. Lucky you for having a wonderful mum. Debs x |

BB,I have never had need to claim on my insurance. My van was insured for myself and partner.TPF&T for the year at a cost of £427.I let it lapse the following year and when I went to get it renewed, the company had apparently stopped operating here. The yellow pages were consulted.Days and days I was on the phone for.Either nobody could find my van on their computer and couldn't do anything for me or I was given laughable quotes.Know how much I was being charged? £3333.47p.....Seriously......I never ever made a claim . Hop-a-long |

BB I've just renewed my car insurance. I was with Zurich and they wanted £585.60 (£614.88 in instalments). I tried confused and the AA then saw a TV add for Privilege. I tried them and insurance quote was £349.65 with interest free instalments! Guess who I renewed with? Try esure, their quote was quite good for me or Norwich Union Direct. Good luck Sue xx |
